ADVANTAGES OF OUR CANADIAN FOUNDATION PROGRAMME IN NIGERIA

Our Canadian Foundation Programme in Nigeria provides students with a structured pathway to complete their secondary education in Nigeria and prepare for university study in Canada.

1. Canadian OSSD Curriculum

Students follow the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) curriculum, the same Canadian curriculum used in Ontario. This allows students to work towards an OSSD qualification while studying in Nigeria.

2. Complete the Programme in About 9 Months

The programme can be completed in approximately nine months, providing a faster alternative to traditional two-year A-Level programmes.

3. Lower Cost of Study

Students can complete the programme in Nigeria at a lower cost than attending a Canadian high school, while following the Canadian OSSD curriculum.

4. Pathway to Canadian Universities

The programme prepares students for progression to Canadian universities. Students who successfully complete the programme can apply to universities based on the admission requirements of their chosen institutions.

5. September University Intake

Students completing the programme around July or August can prepare for the September university intake, subject to meeting the admission requirements and receiving an offer from their chosen university.

6. University Partnership Opportunities

Through our university partnerships, eligible students may have access to opportunities such as:

* Conditional admission offers
* Scholarship opportunities
* English-language test waivers where applicable
* A wide range of undergraduate degree programmes

These opportunities are subject to the requirements and policies of each university.

7. Guidance for Studying in Canada

Students and parents receive guidance throughout the university application and preparation process, helping them understand admission requirements, programme choices and the steps involved in planning for study in Canada.

8. Post-Graduation Opportunities

Eligible international graduates may have opportunities to work in Canada after completing their studies, depending on the programme completed and the current Canadian immigration and work-permit requirements.

9. Visa Application Support

Students can receive guidance with their Canadian study-permit application and documentation. Visa approval is determined by the Canadian immigration authorities and is not guaranteed.
